About Me

"Zentigergirl" - a name I took (and my yahoo id) after returning from Bodhi Mandala Zen Center in NM with Micheline & Craig in 2006. It sort of sums me up in one word.I love the universe and how it plays out perfectly every day. I see everything that happens to me (the good and the bad) both equally as gifts and embrace them because without them, I would never grow.I am constantly challenged by the dichotomy of life as a wife, mother and businesswomen with the life my soul desires to experience as a free spirit, living wildly among nature and dancing barefoot to the drums in my head.
Besides being a wanna-be-hippy, I am also the owner of Backyard Bootcamp, an innovative outdoor adventure program I started in 2003. With over 12 years of experience in the fitness industry and a background in anatomy, physiology and sports conditioning, my program design is built to progess each individual to their own goal safely with optimal results.
I LOVE what I do. I live to inspire, motivate, assist and guide everyone and anyone who asks for my help. This is what I was put on this planet to do and I am fortunate enough to be able to do it.
I've been a Personal Trainer for 9 years, a Certified Krav Maga Instructor for over 10 years and am also a Licensed Massage Therapist. I also competed in Triathlon for several years and have trained several triathletes to reach their own Personal Record. I love helping people achieve their highest vision and version of themselves and have recently also added Life Coach to my list of services.

Yoga, Zen Dancing with Shaman's Dream

Regular retreats to Esalen, Hiking, mountain climbing, trail running, cycling, weight training, Krav Maga, triathlon, meditating, spiritual growth, exploring possibilities, creating new realities, soulful connections...is there anything else?

I'd like to meet:

People who make a difference in the world - make a difference in others' lives and...People who are constantly evolving! People who are colorful, spicy, exhuberant, ALIVE! Artists of all kinds amaze me. To be able to create something beautiful is such a gift. People who are honest, at ease with others and comfortable with themselves, non-judgmental, adventurous, childlike, and spontaneous... those are the people I respond to best.

Music:

Anything that moves me, depends on my mood. Currently I'm really into Shaman's Dream and tribal drumming, basically anything I can firedance to. If I can dance to it, I will probably like it. If I can box to it, I'll probably like it. If I get sexy to it, I'll definitely like it. If I can meditate to it, I'll probably like it. If I can massage to it, I'll definitely like it. If it's country, I probably won't like it...
