About Me

I can't spell for shit. Its sad because I don't realize it until spell check keeps flagging every third word. Thankfully my career doesn't require me to write anything. My arithmetic is worse, also not required in my job.Am I living my dream? Hardly. First of all I'm not married to Batman. And I can't telepathically communicate with dogs. And I can't fly. So I have a few things to work on.What does kick ass is that I have an awesome family, including a rad nephew, and a small but true group of friends. I have a boyfriend that somehow has found a way to put up with my shit, which I haven't even figured out how to do. And my girls at the spa... bless them, I would never make it through a day at work without them.

I love music. Rockabilly, EBM, Bluegrass and on and on. Genres confuse me. Am compiling a list of favorite songs, will post soon. Used to watch movies but now I haven't the time or attention span. Television:

I hardly watch TV. Don't have satellite cuz I don't have time to watch it. But if I did I would watch these -The News Hour (you rock Jim),Charlie Rose(he has the coolest job in the world), NOVA, Simpsons, Family Guy, Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, Justice League(more Batman), Home Movies, South Park, Red Dwarf, Daily Show, LOST (damn that show)

Books:

I hardly read books anymore. Barely can make it through "Newsweek" before the next issue comes. "Discover" is my favorite magazine, any true science geek out there will understand. Also read "Seed" and "Time" and the occasional "Wired", although it is too hip for me.Calvin and Hobbes. anything by Vonnegut. Douglas Adams. Poppy Z. Brite (hot, gay vampire sex... yum) 1984, Brave New World, Catch 22, Farenheit 451, The Little Prince.
