About Me

Divider Live
..Divider started in the mid-nineties as an experimental EBM project initially influenced by artists such as Die Krupps, Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb, Digital Poodle, New Order and Front Line Assembly. From the beginning, Divider was intented to be 'progressive' in the realm of electronic body music. In other words, Divider's sound is constantly evolving. Though Divider is committed to progression, there will always be a debt to the true innovators of electronic music.
The sole member, until 2005, was Bryon. That year Aaron and Peter joined to add audio mastering techniques, vocals, guitars and song writing. 2005 also saw the release of the first Weatherhead compilation featuring the exclusive track, "Apathetic" (a re-working of "Apathy"). Divider has also contributed a number of remixes to some high profile artists in the EBM/industrial scene. Some of the most recent remixes were for Regenerator, Y-Luko, XP8, In{perfektion}, Level 2.0, and Diverje. A number of talented artists have also done remixes for Divider: Most notably, Christian Lund (Icon of Coil/Northborne), Endif, Yendri, and Kinetic Distortion.
In 2006 Divider released the album, "Rational Structures" through Cafepress.com. Recently, Divider teamed up with Diverje to write and produce a song called "Ho Fo Sho" for the new Diverje album "Stitched". Divider has also released an album called "Transparent Architecture and Unexpected Spaces" which consists of electro-experimental instrumental tracks from 2004. Be on the look out in 2008 for a new Divider full length and remixes.
