***DJ Kulcha was born and raised in Flatbush Brooklyn. He graduated from Nazareth Regional High School. And He received a B.A. in Africana Studies from The State University of Stony Brook. By his second year at Stony Brook, he was a guest DJ every week on 90.1 WUSB. And It was not long before Kulcha was spinning at colleges all over such as Hofstra, L.I.U., Albany, Howard, Towson, Colgate, New Paltz, Cornell, N.Y.U., Delaware, and Binghamton to name a few. ***Soon after that, Kulcha started spinning in clubs in New York, Miami, Cancun, and abroad. In 1996, Kulcha represented the US in an International DJ competition in Martinque. In March, 2003, Kulcha taped 2 episodes for BET's The Basement. And for over 10 years, Kulcha was the Vinyl buyer and Record Manager at The Legendary Beatstreet Records in Brooklyn. And for 2 years, Kulcha was a member of X Factah, INC. ***Today you can catch DJ Kulcha in Manhattan several nights a week spinning Hip Hop, R&B, Old School, Reggae, Soca and Reggaeton***.r{}
