Alright people! Ive been circulating this music game from the mid 1990's so say 10 years to put a figure on it....Anyway Im now writing one of these .. blogs thingy's..cool init! - I made it big round late 90's come millenium with tunes such as Danger with my stonecold Gx and running some links with DnD and made a track with Gabrielle..soooo You wanna kno where I am now right?..... Lets keep it movin'.....NRG first started mcing (spitting) at the age of 15 in 1997 at house party's and at Dannie "Da Funk" Dee's house.
1998: (October) NRG started taking his talent seriously when along time friend (Shaka) mentioned to him that he was hosting a night called pleasure in the local public house (Fewterer and Finrkin cobs corner Sydenham) in the function rooms and that he wanted NRG to be a resident there (alongside MC's ST, Nutsie, Ricardo DJ's Dannie "Da Funk" Dee and Gusto) From playing there NRG became a stronger mc and built up his confidence and made him look more deep into the lyrics of which he was spitting.1999: NRG started mcing (spitting) on a local pirate radio station (2G 99.7fm) with Dannie "Da funk" Dee, ST, Nutsie, Chunky T, Tommy Gun, Wrighty, Toxin. During 1999 Shaka formed the Stonecold Crew Consisting of MC's NRG, ST, Nutsie, Chunky T, Ricardo DJ's Dannie "Da Funk Dee, Guest, Gusto, LJ, MA1 and Nutz. Stonecold where hosting various nights e.g. Da Funk, Ice Cold and Pleasure.2000: As we hit the millennium NRG was becoming more known in the UK garage underground scene, he was doing guest appearances on taste 92.5fm, Delight 103fm and was getting booking's for event's like X-Rated, Arola, Platinum and JingleFever. (Stonecold joined forces with Generation X to become StonecoldGX) (pale Face DJ/Producer joined StonecoldGX)2001: NRG and the rest of the StonecoldGX went on Upfront 99.3fm and was working in the studio with Pale Face (DJ/Producer) ST, Nutsie and Chunky T on a track called "DANGER". During 2001 StonecoldGX joined Xtream talent booking agency (left the agency in 2002) NRG had many more bookings throughout 2001 e.g. Garage Fever, Licence 2 Rave, leaders Of Da New Skool, Saints and Sinners, Da Funk, Cruel Intentions, Upfront meets Sun City, Arola, La cosa Nostra, Love Shy and Crew Clash. NRG linked up with DND and was featured in a track called Don't Need The Sun Shine By artist Gabriel.2002: So far NRG is involved in StonecoldGX fourth coming album, has been to Ayia Napa August 9th-August 23rd with the other members of StonecoldGX been guest on Silk City fm and Serious fm both in Birmingham and is still going on strong, to be continued...
