The Violence

punk rock sounds from Bomb City

About Me

Started by Ryan Violence, the Violence started playing shows late in tthe summer of '04. The line up then was, Tyler NdN (vocals) Tanner Beers (guitar and vocals) Ryan Violence (drums) and Vinton Von Bayne (bass).
Soon after they recorded a six song e.p. known as the Skull & Backbones e.p. and then had an old friend rejoin the band and start playing shows, Chris Witt was know rippin lead guitar.
The shows came and went, many of which were played with The Misled, and we decided that we needed to do a split e.p. So was introduced "The whipped and split" violence, misled split e.p. that included four songs from each band.
It seemed the violence's momentum was very much so building playing with some pretty big bands such as, The Nekromantics, Headnoise, and The Scarred.
As of late, some major changes have fallen on the violence with the departure of our lead singer (Tyler) our guitarist (tanner) and we still dont know what ever happened to Chris Witt. Cory Castoe, one of the craziest kids in OK, joined the violence in december and we are now back playing shows. So keep your eyes to the sky, cause we prefer to hit you when your not lookin!
