About Me

Layout by CoolChaserCure 4 Gravity is a band with a wide range of musical influences including everything from Gospel to Rock and Roll. At the core of Cure 4 Gravity (C4G) is the teaming-up of two singer/songwriters. Ted Amberson and Lee Riley met in 2002 and by 2004 had formed a musical partnership that includes co-ownership of LED Ministries, LLC, a full-service Christian ministry for all occasions. After years of acoustic performances, inwhich they shared the stage with Todd Agnew, NewSong, Matthew West, Nate Sallie and Britt Nicole the duo added the rhythm section of brothers Danny and David Wills on bass and drums to complete the lineup. The foursome combines passionate, heartfelt music and lyrics with energetic live performances to excite audiences each and every time they perform.
Cure 4 Gravity is a unique band with two frontmen equally sharing leadership. Riley and Amberson both play rhythm and lead guitar, both sing lead and harmony vocals, and often swap guitar and vocal parts mid-song. Amberson and Riley also both write and have combined their musical styles which pull heavily from their rock, grunge, and singer/songwriter influences. With style comparisons ranging from Alice In Chains and Led Zeppelin on the heavy side to Days of the New and Edwin McCain on the lighter side, C4G’s collection of more than fifty original songs is sure to have something for everyone to like. Included in their catalogue is an acoustic album released in 2005 entitled “Hymns Revival” with nods to the blues and bluegrass genres and a full-band demo of three original songs recorded mid-2007 that highlights their ability to combine solid songwriting with powerful vocals that compliment each other.

Cure 4 Gravity is currently performing live at venues and events as varied as clubs, coffee shops, music festivals, youth events, and even sports competitions. With the ability to perform acoustic, electric, or a combination of both, C4G is available for any occasion and can fit any musical need. C4G is based in northeast Alabama and tours mainly in the southeastern United States, but also has a completely self-sufficient PA system and transportation necessary to perform anywhere within the continental United States and beyond.
