I'm the son of a music minister and a church pianist, and I can't remember a time when I wasn't singing. I guess it came right after I started talking. I learned all about melody from Dad, and Mom taught me harmony when I listened to her sing alto parts to hymns and such. I sang in several groups in and after high school, and decided to learn to play guitar when I was 18 (mainly because I felt so awkward with nothing to hold onto when I was onstage). I tried to make a living playing & singing in the late 90's, but my busines skills weren't quite good enough and when I got stranded on the east coast with half of my band calling it quits, I had to move home and get a 'real job'. So here I am...after multiple projects with several different musicians, I finally hooked up with my musical soul mate and we've been playing together for more than two years now.
