..The Transmitters are a indie melodic rock band from Brisbane who have been around for 3 years playing blood thirst driven ballads with a hook that creates a unique style of music which stands out from your generic modern day bands.
In the last 2 years we have built a strong reputation within the local Brisbane scene for our diverse live shows and dedicated fan base with east coast tours and national supports for such bands as Blue Juice (Nsw), The Lazy’s (Nsw), The Gin Club (Brisy), Poetic Cool Justice (Nsw), Wormholes Exist (Melb), Little Vegas and the Fuzz Parade (Brisy) as well as already securing a spot on the renown Valley Fiesta 08.
The Transmitters also organise and play in a event called "The Valley Transmission" which is held in the Valley Mall Stage once a month. This event approved by Brisbane City Council show cases the local diversity of up and coming artists with a monthly turn out of 300 to 400 people all ages and free. With support and sponsorship from local businesses such as Rave and Time off magazine, Sunday Mail, Nova FM, Empire and Alchemix Studio’s, Q Live, Rg’s Bar and Kaliber cocktail lounge The Valley Transmission is rapidly establishing a strong reputation for its self.
