The Room

debut EP in the works!

About Me

The Room explores many different musical atmospheres, differing from lush soundscapes; to apocalyptic breakdowns - to feel-good rock anthems. Focusing on deep song developing and progressive writing, The Room is not afraid to delve into emotional range or musical style. Currently a three-piece, The Room performs with immense intensity and professionalism - guiding their audience on a memorable journey. So far, Brisbane audiences aren’t too sure whether to clap or to just sit back and take in what is being unfolded in front of them. Their songs onstage can either begin from the quietest whisper to a sudden scream, or improvisation that elaborates into something else. Whether its the frantic pulsing of the rhythm section, the echoes of haunting chords or the soaring of melodic cries - each member of The Room compliments each other, making the final picture accessibly overwhelming. This alternative group is always performing around Brisbane with free demos and stickers at offer for the lucky punter. Currently in the process of recording their debut EP, The Room will be stretching out in Brisbane, making sure their audience capture the music and await their early 2009 release. We hope to see you at one of our shows very soon.
