I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up in southern Illinois near St. Louis and music has always been a big part of my life. Many nights as a little girl I would push two chairs together in a bar to sleep while my dad played the fiddle jamming with other musicians. As a teenager I became a hippie child and escaped into my radio! I saw the Beatles perform at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, went through two marriages, worked really hard and raised two beautiful daughters on my own. I'm a warm weather person at heart and gravitate to tropical beaches just about anywhere, but especially love Hawaii and the people who "hang loose". Music is my passion in life and Nashville, TN is also a great place to be, almost my second home. Chances are that you will find me anywhere within driving distance that has a good band! I've met a lot of very cool and talented people in my life and am privileged to call some of them friends. We also have bonded with our St. Louis brother, the “Father of Rock & Roll” - Mr. Chuck Berry, who celebrated his 81st birthday in October, and is still rockin’!! All of us can only hope to be that lucky.

My Interests

I love being with my kids, music, dancing, gardening, playing on the computer, traveling and photography.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who enjoys life. I would have loved to meet Elvis!! Also Lisa Marie Presley, Joe Esposito, Jerry Schilling, Scotty Moore, James Burton, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, President Clinton, Oprah, Prince William, Lionel Ritchie, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Tom Selleck, Dale Jr., Tim McGraw.... too many interesting people out there to list. I'm hoping to make new friends here and would like to meet you too!!

Music:

As you can probably tell from my friends, I like all types of music that is done well, but mostly country, rock and blues. At the top of my list is Chuck Berry, Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives (Harry Stinson, Kenny Vaughan, and Brian Glenn), B.J. Thomas, the Oak Ridge Boys, the Lettermen, Darren Dowler, Billy Joe Royal, Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, and Gretchen Wilson.

Heroes:

My dad who was at Omaha Beach during the invasion of France on D-Day. Also our veterans and military men & women serving in Iraq. They are dedicated professionals who have given up a lot for our country. Please keep them in your prayers.
