About Me

Respect to all who come from Yaad! I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, but I'm clear that I was brought to this land on purpose, for purpose. I'm a Spanish teacher and much more. Basically, "what I seem is what you get!" No pretense here. I'm a life coach, author, mentor, motivational speaker and educator. My purpose and commission is to motivate, empower and educate. To me, there is nothing but Spirit above family. Blood IS thicker than water, and I'm glad that you are a part of my family through the divine lineage that we share. We all seek, and we all find. I say "celebrate your divinity", and that of others. Your purpose on this planet stems from pure passion, so don't hold back! One day, I woke up and realized I was in a state of bliss. It had nothing to do with a man, money or fame. It simply had to do with me staking claim to myself. Shaking it off, setting my boundaries and realizing that I own myself, I'm free, and I adore me and celebrate my divinity! (Who taught us that self-love is the wrong thing??) It's not conceited, it's correct. No one should ever love you more than you love yourself. The more that you love yourself, the more you can love others! Out of that understanding, I acknowledge that it is my choice if I allow others to own me, use me and abuse me. I encourage you to stake your claim to yourself, and "stand fast in the liberty" that is yours. Namaste'

I'd like to meet:

Indira Gandhi, Malcolm X, Oprah, Iyanla Vanzant, and beyond that, anyone that I am graced to meet. We are placed here for connection and collaboration. Mainly, I'd like to discourse about purpose, passion, divinity, spirituality...our "seek" in this life. I also want to have some good laughs and make some new friends who want to connect in spirit and in truth. I'd like to network with those of you who are artists, thinkers, writers, people in need of reconnection with your passion, and I'd like to meet some of the transplanted "Yaadies" and other islanders out there too! I'd like to connect with those of you who can offer me guidance in my life coaching, writing and speaking career. Any of you who think that I can aid you in touching your place of truth again, I'm glad to know you!
