About Me

Myspace Backgrounds

My Interests

Travelling, reading, cooking (if I am in the mood) , reproducing plants (especially roses), drinking a good glass of wine in a place with a nice view or while listening to some good live music. My most recent passion is Qi Gong, a chinese discipline that makes you healthier, more focused and calm

I'd like to meet:

All the people that have been important to me and that, for a reason or another, I don't see anymore.

Music:

I don't like any kind of music in particular. I fall in love with single melodies and listen to them over and over again. Among them: "Vuelvo al sur" "Libertango" "Oblivion" and many more by Piazzolla, "Armando's Rhumba" by Chick Corea, "Air on G String" by Bach, Gounod's "Ave Maria" , "Mediterraneo" by Joan Manuel Serrat... Egberto Gismonti and more. The only group that I am a true fan of is the Puppini Sisters! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prm73V7FLi4

Movies:

Westworld by Michael Crichton (great old movie with Yul Brinner), The talented mr.Ripley ( by Anthony Minghella), The Bourne identity (by Doug Liman), It's a wonderful life (by Frank Capra), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (by Don Siegel), the Game (by David Fincher)

Television:

I am addicted to quiz shows. Embarassing? Maybe... Friends, Will &Grace, Medium, Il commissario Montalbano (yes, we managed to make a great series in Italy too!, Hitchcock's short stories

Books:

all of Milan Kundera, Italo Calvino ("Le cosmicomiche" is the greatest of them all), Jorge Amado. "Oceano mare" and "Novecento" by Alessandro Baricco, "The Purple Cloud" by Shiel, "Farenheit 451" by Bradbury, ", some by M. Crichton, Harry Potter by Rowling, "Il deserto dei Tartari" by Buzzati, "The picture of Dorian Gray" by Wilde, "Narciso e Boccadoro" by Hesse, "Asylum" by McGrath... Ah, I must mention a book that I picket almost by mistake in an old library in New Zealand, written by Z'ev Ben Shimon Halevi?(Warren Kenton) a London St Martin's guy. The title is "the Anointed" and I truly loved it: well done Warren!

Heroes:

None
