Strato 70 è la rock band fondata da Antonio e Alessandro Verde ,alla chitarra e al basso e da Ludovico Valoroso alla voce, nel 2001. Le nostre precedenti esperienze convergono finalmente in un progetto comune, dopo aver contribuito a fondare le basi delle nostre personalità musicali. La nostra idea di band e di vita nella musica si rivela subito comune e condivisa e ci consente di affrontare il nostro progetto con lo spirito e l’entusiasmo con i quali si affrontano le esperienze più gioiose e irrinunciabili che la vita può regalare. Abbiamo raccolto l’ideale che ci hanno lasciato le grandi band del passato come un’eredità da conservare e da cui trarre la forza per affermare le nostre idee e le nostre personalità attraverso la musica. La band come famiglia, come gruppo unito, come momento di confronto, scambio, crescita, come la vita stessa. La musica che spesso riesce a sostituire il linguaggio verbale, superando i limiti che ad esso talvolta noi stessi attribuiamo (purtroppo), in un’epoca in cui paradossalmente la crescita esponenziale dei mezzi di comunicazione può diluirne l’efficacia e livellarne la profondità … Molto è cambiato dagli anni ’70 che ci hanno dato la luce, e ai quali rendiamo omaggio anche con il nome del gruppo, ma l’intento di riproporre con la musica la vitalità e creatività di quegli anni , certamente filtrate dalla triplice lente di cui la band è dotata , rimane. La nostra musica nasce dall’esperienza comune, dall’improvvisazione, dal lavoro in sala che consente un confronto immediato, e una coesione di colori e ambientazioni rese possibili dall’ispirazione suggerita dall’uno agli altri, che si alimenta di nota in nota grazie all’empatica atmosfera che riteniamo così preziosa perché irripetibile…
Strato70 was born in 2001, after Alessandro and Antonio Verde (bass and guitar) and Ludovico Valoroso (vocals) decided to join their previous musical experiences in a common project. We immediately realized that we were sharing the same idea of a rockband , and this allowed us to start working with the enthusiasm of the most joyful experiences given by life. We took the ideal of the great bands of the past as an heritage to keep and preserve and to take strenght from, to realize our ideas and our personalities through the music. The band as a family, as a united group, as a moment of comparison, mutual exchange, growth, as the life itself. The music can often substitute the verbal language, overcoming the limits that we give it by ourselves (unfortunately), in a time when paradoxily the exponential growth of mass communication medias can dilute its depth and effectivenesses... A lot of things have changed since the 70's that gave us the light, and to whom we give an hommage even with the band name, but the intention to repropose their vitality and creativity through the music, this is still alive. Our music was born from shared experiences, from improvisation, by workin in the rehearsals room. This allows an immediate comparison, and a cohesion of colors and sound environments made possible by the inspiration suggested from one to eachothers', fed note after note thanks to the empathic atmosphere that we consider so precious because it's unrepeteable.
