De parents chiliens, MISTYSA est nee au Canada ou elle fut entouree de musique vu que tous les membres de sa famille jouaient d un instrument.
Apres avoir vecu dans plusieurs pays, c est au Bresil ou elle debuta ses etudes musicales lesquelles furent posterieurement poursuivies au Canada ou MISTYSA connu une nouvelle ecole de chant: le Choeur de Gospel Jireh, dans lequel elle fut soliste pendant trois ans.
Durant ces annees, MISTYSA accompagna le choeur dans differents spectacles aux Etats Unis et au Canada, comme dans des Festivals de Blues et de Gospel ou dans le Stade Olympique de Montreal devant 80000 personnes. Elle se presenta aussi en tant que soliste sur diverses scenes de New York et du Canada.
C est egalement pendant cette periode que MISTYSA pris ses premieres classes de piano et suivi une formation de Programmation MIDI.
Aprs quelques annees en Amerique du Nord, MISTYSA retourna au Chili ou elle etudia Composition et Arrangements Musicaux avec Mention en Chant puis monta son studio d enregistrement dans lequel elle realisa par la suite la production de son album MACUMBA ainsi que celle d autres artistes.
Suite a ces annees au Chili, ou paralllement a ses etudes musicales, elle se presenta entre autres, dans le Club de Jazz de Santiago et dans des Festivals de la Voix., MISTYSA parti en Europe pour montrer son travail MACUMBA .
Elle se presenta sur plusieurs scnes europeennes en tant que soliste et aussi avec divers artistes dont Inti Illimani a Londres et Angel Parra a Paris.
Apres quelques mois en Europe, MISTYSA signa un contrat de distribution avec Positive Music pour vendre le VINILE de MACUMBA mondialement et le CD en Europe.

Born in Canada of Chilean parents, MISTYSA was always surrounded by music as all of her family members played at least one instrument.
After having lived in several countries, she began her musical studies in Brazil and continued in Canada where she discovered a new school of singing: The Jireh Gospel Choir, in which she sang as soloist for three years.
During these years, MISTYSA performed with the Choir in United States and Canada in Blues and Gospel Festivals and other venues such as the Olympic Stadium of Montreal in front of 80000 people. Aside from her shows with the Choir, MISTYSA also performed solo on various US and Canadian stages.
Its during this period that MISTYSA took her first piano classes and studied MIDI-Programming.
After a few years in North America, MISTYSA decided to go to Chile where she studied Composition, Musical Arrangements and Voice. She then assembled a recording-studio in order to carry out the production of her first album "MACUMBA", as well as productions for other artists.
In Chile, during the same period she was studying, she performed in places such as the Santiago Jazz Club and Voice Festivals. MISTYSA then left to Europe to present "MACUMBA".
She performed on several European stages as a soloist as well as with various artists such as Inti Illimani in London and Angel Parra in Paris.
After a few months in Europe, MISTYSA signed a distribution contract with Positive Music and now her MACUMBA in its vinyl format is sold worldwide. Mistysa's CD is sold in the FNAC stores of Paris and is now also available on FNAC.COM. You can view other purchasing locations on her official website
