Tomfoolery and hijinks
Nice people! But not nice in a bland sense, nice in an exciting, enigmatic, fun sense. Which 'nice' probably doesn't really cover. If you want me to add you, send me a message first, I have too many randoms as 'friends' on here already! Ah well. Bands - unless you're local and I might actually have a chance of seeing you play, please refrain from adding me. Feel free to add my bands instead!
I'd like to add that my 'top friends' is in no particular order of favourites/ranking system :P Apart from my bands are first!
Lots... In particular the Cure, AFI, Garbage, Splender, The Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Death by Stereo, The Sundays, Vertical Horizon, Elliott, The Smiths, Morrissey, Rachel Stamp, King Adora, Chris T-T, Depeche Mode, Thursday, Matchbox 20, Dashboard Confessional, Bic Runga, Hellogoodbye, Saves The Day... plus some guilty pleasures like Kid Rock and Michael Bolton. And Take That.... oh yes!
Psychological thrillers and good chick flicks. With regard to the first, the more of a headfuck the better! Anything with Angelina Jolie in it. Everything Todd Solontz! My favourite film is probably Adaptation. Other favourites include Happiness, Requiem for a Dream, Ma Vie En Rose, Memento, Gia, The Butterfly Effect, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Bad Education, The Green Mile, Storytelling, 16 Years of Alcohol, About Last Night ... and many more.
Peepshow, Jam, Monkeydust, Spaced, Ally McBeal, Friends, Angel, Sex and the City, The L-Word. Comedy is always good, and anything that's that little bit 'wrong' generally gets my vote ;)
Many! The Diceman by Luke Rhinehart is a definite favourite. Some authors: Mark Haddon, A. M. Homes, Nick Hornby, Frank McCourt, Steven Chbosky, Alice Sebold, Angela Carter. Anne Rice. I like thrillers, biographies (mainly of musicians)... and of course the odd bit of chick lit. Also have quite a penchant for trashy women's magazines and their all too compelling 'real-life' stories. I think its a reaction to the overload of philosophy books I've had to read the last 3 years :P
I think Bruce Forsyth is wonderful. And no, I'm not kidding!
