Name
My name is... confusing. Everybody, family and all, has called me Timmie (my parents are crazy) since before I was born. Unfortunately, by some sick twist of fate, everyone at work calls me "Maria", my legal name. So I started referring to myself as Maria for a while, at least to acquaintances, classmates, lab partners, etc. Friends & family still call me Timmie, and that's good. So unless you're my doctor, prof, or you work with me, call me Timmie. Or Maria. I don't care anymore.Background
I was born in the Philippines, and raised in Hong Kong for 13 years, during which I vacationed in the Philippines a lot and even lived there for a year, as well as visited Japan, Korea and Macau. In 2001 I moved to a small town in Canada. I graduated from high school in 2003 at sixteen years old, took two years off, then moved to Edmonton in 2005 to go to University. Since my move here, I've been back to the Phils and HK once, in the summer of '05. I now know that Philippines is truly the funnest and greatest country on earth, if not for the humidity. As it turns out, I like the cold.Education
I'm a 2nd year student at The University of Alberta . Currently in the Faculty of Science, but will be transferring to the Faculty of Art to pursue a degree in Art & Design. My favorite subject is English.Greek Life
Member of Alpha Gamma Delta since September 2005. I also designed our website, which you can see @ alphagammadelta.net . I don't party as much as I used to in my first year (if at all), but one thing I've always done (and always will do) is choerograph for our annual Greek God & Goddess Dance competition, as well as the DU Date Auction. I'm currently not holding any officer positions (too busy!). My fiance' is in the Lambda Chi Alpha frat.Real Life
I live in a swank apartment with my fiance', our rabbit, guinea pig, two hamsters and fishies. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I go to school full-time. On weekends, I work part-time. In my spare time, I like to make/draw/design things. I am obsessed with dining out (when you work in a restaurant, you get used to posh food) and buying furniture. I'm getting married in July, and I don't have a dress yet. My life's never been better ♥ My god did you actually read all of this?
