About Me

If you wanna leave me a message feel free... always like gettin messages from people!!

Get Your Own Voice Player Manage What can I say about me... well I know lots of people but I only trust a few people... family and friends are very important to me... I am always here to help either stranger or friend... I do travel quite a bit, when possible... I do go out most weekends to clubs=p I can talk to most people... about anything (lots of random info in my brain), conversation is very important to me... if you have nothing intelligent to say that is fun too... well hmmm... I really have no clue what to write without this thing sounding like a dating service... but one thing is for sure I do ask alot of questions... I like hearing people's stories about there live's, cause I have many stories about my own! I think I have a story for every one of yours! I guess my life experience is pretty well rounded... too many stories to tell and too many of them true... leavin me with the question in my mind... what the hell was I thinkin! Of course they were all a learnin experience... and it begs the question, why do I still make the same mistakes... who knows... I wish I knew! As I drag myself thru these... ummm adventures... I ask myself aren't I... well shouldn't I be done with all the games in life... but I have learned no matter what age you are no matter what you have accomplised in your life... the person that you will never think would hurt you most likely will do just that and you will have to deal with that pain, the horror, the wanting, the needing of why this is life... but in the end you just have to accept it... life is hard, a test if you will, of your will to overcome these let downs, these questions will never be answered... cause no matter what type of person you are... you will always want more, and always ask WHY? Well hmmm, let me leave it with this quote that I have believed for a very long time "Never take LIFE so SERIOUSLY! NOBODY gets out ALIVE anyway!" I know it is hard to do... but eventually we all end in the same place... standing there remembering all that we have done and regretting that which we have been afraid to try! So the next time you see something that you want... or someone... I say just try... we all get rejected... but it is how we deal with that rejection determines on how our lives will turn out!

Clubbin, dancin, sleepin, eatin, talkin, bs'in, sleepin, travelin, talkin sheit, goin out every weekend, meetin new people... anything that will keep my mind active! test

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm... whom do I want to meet... well there are many people who touch our lives... the internet has made our world very small... but large enough to never experience it all! I meet new people weekly... such is the life of a salesmen=p But as always you can never have enough friends... life is too short to limit yourself to only certain groups of people! I would say everyone... but personalities clash... some of those people would annoy me... so I just want to meet people... be it good or bad... people all have there good and bad... you just have to get around each individuals personalities and accept them for who they are, and not what they can provide to you! Also, I would like to meet people who can handle the truth... I am very blunt... "tact" is not second nature to me... if you got stank breath, I will offer you a mint...=p Well don't know what else to say... it is not as if anyone reads this... but yeah that is who I want to meet... everyone at least once and some people maybe twice!

Well this is my DAD... he had the kindest smile... everyone who had ever met him had said he was one of the nicest people they ever met... he did whatever he could to help you out... he was a true friend to all... a HUSBAND, a FATHER, a MENTOR, most importantly a FRIEND! Your time with us was too short but you did a great job... we will survive... MOM will go on... we just pray you are in a better place and that you will watch over us!
Well as you can see... this is a really old one of my dad... he was Mr. Baguio... can you see those guns... My dad the PIMP... and you all wonder why it is so easy for me to talk with women... I learned from the best!
My Parents on their Honeymoon in Baguio City... aren't they so cute... they were a couple for more than 39 years... damn I wish it could have been at least another 30 years!
This is one of the best family pictures we have... when I still had hair and my hair line wasn't as far back
My Birthday a two years ago... see my dad has that natural smile and I have to work on mine... my mom... haha no teeth showing but still as pretty as ever... who do I look like more?
This is one of my favorite pictures... my nephew Lance took this and I was like what the... my dad is talking to Blue and Blue is listening to him... but you know he use to spoil this dog so much... he would actually chop up KFC and microwave it just for Blue...
Taken last year... always with the nephews... I know they will miss him like we all will!
Me and my dad look nothing alike... he was one of the most charismatic guys I knew... he touched so many people in his short time here... I am glad I was born with him as a dad... he taught me well... I just wish I had more time with him!
Saying goodbye is never easy... I LOVE YOU DAD... I HOPE I SEE YOU AGAIN!
Rudy G. Encomienda
(July 28, 1936 August 23, 2005)
In the end, the true measure of a man is not the wealth he leaves behind, but the richness of the memories he gave to others.
Independence. Dad was born on July 28, 1936, on a farm in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. He was born good-looking, strong and full of purpose. At age 12 when most of us couldnt even go to the mall by ourselves, he left home to find work in BaguioCity. Although Dad could only find work as a dishwasher, he found a way to survive.
Education. On May 29, 1965, at the age of twenty-eight, Dad graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the Far EasternUniversity (FEU) in Manila, Philippines. It took Dad eight years to graduate FEU because Dad had to work to make enough money to pay tuition for one year then go to school the next year until, eight years later, he finally graduated with a degree in commerce (accounting). Dad was the first-ever college graduate in his family. He even found time to earn the bodybuilder title of Mr. Baguio and was a member of the university athletic team.
Love. While at FEU, in an attempt to get better grades, Dad decided to date a teacher, unfortunately, she was a chemistry teacher and he was an accounting major. On the other hand, she was very beautiful and talented, so he decided to ask her to marry him. Luckily for him, she said yes. Dad and Mom were married on June 29, 1966. Thanks, Mom.
Kids. First comes love then comes marriage then comes Theresa in a baby carriage. Then Ray.
Coming to America (yep...Mom was smart and had a visa). Dad and Mom arrived in the United States in 1970 with only a prayer, a few dollars in their pockets, a dream and two carry-on bags (Theresa and Ray).
Oops (another kid). Rodolfo, born in 1973.
Principles. Despite hardships early on, Dad learned that the right woman, integrity, hard work, perseverance and a certain amount of fearlessness, were the only ways to succeed in life. He applied these principles to both his personal and business relationships.
Career. In July 1971, Dad got a job with the New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC) and shortly thereafter, became a member of NYLICs Million Dollar Round Table. At one time, Dad was even elected President of the Filipino-American Association of Maryland. In December 2001, after more than thirty years with NYLIC, Dad retired from insurance and joined Mom in their real estate and property management business, Ru-Bi Realty & Associates, Inc. (Ru for Rudy and Bi for Bibiana),which continues to be successful today.
Family. Family was the first and last thing on Dads mind. Every Single Day. Family. Family. Family. Growing up, Dad always told us that all we have in life is each other and that our most important job is to love and care for each other, no matter what. He lived by this sentiment his entire life. From the first moment, at age twelve, that he decided to leave home and go to Baguio City, Dad believed that education was the way out and up and he made sure that his children were all college graduates. Dad and Mom have continued this commitment and are presently sponsoring seven of our cousins through college. Against all odds, with blood, sweat and many tears, Dad made sure that he did his part to support his family. Even when Dad didnt have the money, he always found a way. Most of the time, family first meant others before Dad.
Husband and Father. Dad is survived by his beloved wife and our Mom, Bibiana, his daughter Theresa and her husband Tony, his son Ray and his wife Aissa, his son Rodolfo and his two grandchildren Lance and Gabe.
Dad Loved God. He loved his wife. He loved his kids. He loved his family. Dad was the strongest, most generous man we knew.Dad touched so many lives and changed them all for the better. And, though we didnt say it nearly as often as we would have liked, we loved him more than words could ever express. Although we will continue to miss him, we know that he will always be with us in spirit, loving us and guiding us. We are comforted only by the knowledge that, one day, we will be together again.
OUR FAMILY THANKS YOU FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS AND KIND WORDS.
RIP July 28, 1936 - August 23, 2005....
