***IF YOU ARE A WEST HAM FAN AND DON'T KNOW ME PLEASE DON'T ADD ME***

About Me

First off...GO TO MY FRIEND'S WEBSITE
Secondly...can all West Ham fans that DO NOT KNOW ME please do NOT add me. Just because we have the same football team it doesn't mean we have an automatic 'connection'. We don't.About me. Currently in the happiest stage of my life, I am a music graduate that works for a national newspaper that has an extreme love for photography. Below is a selection from my flickr account .I also like six syllable words and Dominos pizza. I'm a sucker for kitchen gadgets and I love to read catalogues, particularly that of Ikea. I love 20th Century Russian music, The Beatles when they 'went hippy' and I believe Patrick Stewart is the finest actor to come from England's greenest hills. He was particularly fabulous in Anthony and Cleopatra back in April.I do not like poor grammar, ignorance, rudeness or cyclists in the City that think they can ignore the Highway Code. I am going to clothes line tackle the next one that goes through a red light on Lower Thames Street, IDIOTS. I do not like overly opinionated people that don't try to understand others' way of thinking and I don't like people who think they know everything about everything because THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. I hate pedancy, patronising personalities and trying to find a good way to end this section. If you have visited my flickr profile you will know that the profile bit is almost exactly the same as this. What can I say, I'm lazy and unimaginative with words.

My Interests

I love to play and write music. I wouldn't call myself a 'music geek' as I don't go out of my way to go to gigs, discover new acts I like or even compose. If I find the time to compose/play I will do it but it's not a disaster if I don't....it's just a hobby. My mum thinks that's sad as I used to be shit hot at the violin. Ah well. I will make a comeback eventually. I've taken a very recent interest in photography but it's taken a back seat for the moment as I want a decent camera that can take 'wickedy cool' pictures. Oh, and I can make jumping frogs out of paper.I am also a massive West Ham fan :).. width="425" height="350" ..

I'd like to meet:

Shostakovich, John Cage, Bobby Moore, Beethoven, Anthony Kiedis and Ben Stiller.

Music:

It's a bit like when a former soapstar (naming no names) release a solo album - "so what can we find on your new album Holly Valance?" "A little bit of everything - I'm just SO TOTALLY eclectic". Anyway, in no particular order we have: Evanescence, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Curtis Mayfield, Stereolab, (earlier)KoRn, Rage Against The Machine, K.T Tunstall, Aphex Twin, Jamie Cullum, Michael Bublé, Whitney (I know), Christina Aguilera, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Aaliyah, TLC, Faith No More, Faithless, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Take That, Caribou, Django Rheinhardt, Martin Taylor, Will Young, Metallica, Coldplay, Iron Maiden, Opeth, some of Cradle of Filth, Nirvana, Maroon 5, Garbage, Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, The Streets, Kooks, Lemar, Madonna, Mamas and Papas, Moby, Michael Jackson, Prodigy, System of a Down, Usher, Alanis Morrissette, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Alice in Chains, Zero 7, Within Temptation, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles...for the 'classical' bit I'm going to name works, rather than composers; Beethoven's 9th and Moonlight Sonata, Mozart's Requiem, Verdi's Requiem, CPE Bach's Solfegietto, Poulenc's Flute Sonata, Bruch's Violin Concerto in G Minor, Vivaldi's Four Seasons (especially Spring), Ravel's (I think) Daphne et Chloe, Barber's Adagio for Strings, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, Debussy's La Mer, Sunken Cathedral, Clair De Lune and Deux Arabesques, the entire collection of Brahms' Symphonies, some of Monteverdi's Vespers and Scherzi Musicali, most of Chopin's Nocturnes and Rimsky-Korsakoff's Scheherezade (if you know the last piece I have to tell you that I played the violin solo when I was a young girl of 17).

Movies:

The Last Samurai, House of Flying Daggers, Blade 1 and Trinity, The Green Mile, Dumbo, My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, Kung Fu Hustle, Drunken Master, Ong Bak, Watership Down, Anchorman, Borat.

Television:

Friends, X Factor, Family Guy, the Simpsons, South Park, 24, Brasseye, anything with Gordon Ramsay, Sky Travel, UKTV Food ....and finally Curb Your Enthusiasm featuring Larry David aka Andy Wells in 30 years. Where's my money

Add to My Profile | More Videos

Books:

Authors: Dan Brown, Margaret Atwood, Mo Hayder, John Steinbeck, Bill Bryson, will add more later so I appear more 'educated'.

Heroes:

Bobby Moore, Trevor Brooking, Paolo Di Canio, Dmitri Shostakovich, Katharine Hepburn and Ross Gellar (not David, Schwimmer - I want Angry Ross with Rage).

My Blog

This year has rocked!

Apart from January, which was a really shit month, 2006 has been the best of my life. I am so ridiculously happy, so much so that it took me five attempts to type the word 'ridiculously' correctly. I...

My new(ish) hobby

I've been dabbling with photography for a while and have quite a few photos but until now I have been a bit too shy to post them, especially as there are brilliant photographers on my myspace friends ...

My current pet hate: PEOPLE WHO PATRONISE.

If you disagree with somebody else's opinion that's fine. But please don't patronise*. If you are patronising, you only make yourself look like a cunt in the end. I find people who patronise...

Just so you know....

..I'm going to start taking my music seriously again. It's still going to be a sideline for me, but a more serious sideline. So yeah, this week I shall be purchasing some A3 manuscript paper and final...
