Alarma Man
Gothenburg, Sweden - home of many luminous Swedish acts also houses unexpected entities in it's dark corners. One of these entities seen as flash of light in the impending winter moving from street corner to street corner. It is a rogue in the night with the glint of his dagger reflecting a bright beam of the moon. Legends are created in the shadows and through these windy streets a door is found. Behind this door "labyrinth mathpunk" is created by 4 men who are collectively known as Alarma Man. Instrumental and daft in it's execution, Alarma Man can excite, sooth, and equally throw an unprepared listener into a state of confusion. Mind-numbing drum beats, steady bass lines, and odd guitar rhythms accenting with tapping that defies the nature of the sonic guitar itself. A mad mixture of dark intentions and old roving spirits that brings to mind Don Cabellero, Man Or Astroman, and Fugazi, yet with something all the more sinister and forward looking. The dagger has been found stuck into the wall with a note that simply says... Alarma Man.
You have been warned.

Knife and Ape
KNA are from Pite, a small town in t he very north of Sweden. In 1999, they started making music. Now they live and play in Stockholm.
Growing up in a dark and cold place, has shaped KNA. At first, the sound of their machines, hammering away seemingly without feelings give a sinister and cool edge to the music.
But beyond the harshness of the beats you find there is light and there is love. KNA is cracked and distorted music, full of rabbit holes for the listener to get lost in or fall into.
They mix machine-like dance rhythms with non meloodic guitars, hide beautiful melodies within walls of unlistenable noise and on top of that a wonderful singing human of flesh and blood.
Their influences are vast and many come and go, but to mention a few: Daft Punk, Jesus Lizard, The Residents and Black Sabbath.

Traktor
Traktor was formed in Eskilstuna, Sweden in the beginning of the year 2002 by the three steady members David, Rickard and Fredrik. The goal was to create groovy San Diego rock with lots of crazy riffs. The lineup was drums, bass, guitar and two voices.
The band began to write songs and recorded a six track demo, which after a lot of hassle with different small labels was released as a seven inch record by German label My Favorite Toy and later also by English label Art For Blind. This recording took place in the Swedish town of Uppsala in Studio EAR with Carl Vikman (Seven feet four, Switchblade, Soviac, the Price of ink etc).
Traktor made their stage debut in their hometown at the end of the summer of 2002, the debut was followed by lots of gigs all over the country while they were working on new material. In the spring of 2003 they went to Studio EAR once again to record six new songs, which later resulted in an s/t cd ep on My Favorite Toy. The speed and the playfulness from the first recording were still there but it was a new and more dynamic Traktor that ended up on tape.Throughout 2003 the band started to work on new songs for a full-length album. During the summer of 2004 the recording evolved, as usual together with Carl Vikman in studio EAR. 13 songs were captured on tape. The sound was now a bit more mature but the trademark Traktor noise was still there. Among the band's influences could bands like Blood Brothers and Shellac together with tons more be mentioned.Another 2 tours took place in 2005. One around Germany and another close to Sweden. In the end of 2005 Georgios made his entrance as a second guitarist. The sound now got larger and also the possibilities for more of the good. The live performance also got a real boost, with four guys to watch instead of three. The "lights" album was released in February 2006 and was followed up by a one-month tour in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France and the Netherlands.
After the tour Traktor has played some various shows in Sweden and recorded some songs for a 7"(released in summer -06 on Cut 'n Paste Records) but mostly concentrated in writing new songs for the upcoming fullength album. The recording sessions start in August and once
