The story:
It started back in the year 1999 or 2000. We (Tell Me That You Love Me) invited Kid Commando to do a show in the Tell Me That You Love Me basement/living room in Gislaved, Småland. Also playing was the band 8 Days Of Nothing who released their debut 7" at Bates Records which was runned by Johan from Kid Commando. Bates released very few records but only really, really good stuff.
In 2000 we released our first release, the Kid Commando 7" and it was made in 440 copies. Kid Commando went on several European tours and a US tour was booked but the band decided to break up in 2004 after a tour in the UK. After they broke up Johan started to play the bass in C.Aarmé and Joachim and Erik went on to start the band The Skull Defekts together with Henrik Rylander (the former Union Carbide Productions drummer and multi artist) and Jean-Louis Huhta (who have played in a lot of great bands such as Anti-Cimex, Cortex and Lucky People Center). Skull Defekts have records out on iDEAL and AA. They have recently recorded a full length CD for AA. Check them out. Joachim Nordwall of Kid Commando is also running the great label iDEAL Recordings
Our second release is the Pharadox/Px split 7". 500 was made and it's still available.
A couple of years ago we decided to move to Gothenburg from Västerås where we lived at the moment. In Gothenburg we came in contact with Alarma Man and we wanted to release something with them after hearing their crazy instrumental music. So we released a CDEP with them and later a full length CD together with the very fine label Carcrash Records.
We are now looking for something new and interesting to release. So if you think that you would fit in among the other magnificent acts of Tell Me That You Love Me please get in contact. But have in mind that we are very critical. If you sound like every other rock band out there you should probably look for somebody else to release your stuff.
