Illusive Sounds is the record label/publishing division of Illusive and is a primarily hip-hop/cutting edge artist label based in Melbourne.
Illusive Sounds was formed in February 2003 by Matt Gudinski to cater for local hip-hop/urban artists - developing, recording, releasing & marketing their material and getting it out to the Australian/New Zealand market along with the rest of the world
Illusive Sounds is a boutique-recording label only for exclusive artists who record illusive sounds, which are unique to the market place.
The Label keeps a small and exclusive roster of artists, priding ourselves on personal attention and commitment to our artists.
We have recently began to move into licensing international hip-hop/urban product to complement our highly regarded local artist roster.

ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN EAST COAST TOUR
Illusive Entertainment are excited to announce that Adelaide based buzz band Lowrider will hit the road this March with Gold Coast hip hop outfit The Winnie Coopers.
Adelaide based band LOWRIDER are no strangers to the Australian tour circuit. Since their conception in 2004, Lowrider have taken little time in establishing themselves as one the up and coming bands to watch. The last 12 months have proved to be monumental for the band, seeing them play a string of festivals including Bass In The Grass (Darwin), Pyramid Rock (Victoria) and most notably, the 2008 Big Day Out Festival alongside their good mates the Hilltop Hoods. Lowrider were also hand picked for the highly coveted support slot for Christina Aguilera’s Back To Basic’s tour in 2007!
Lowrider consist of brothers Paul (Drums) and John (keyboard), Scott (Guitar), Joe (lead vocals).
Expect to hear Lowrider performing material from their self titled debut album and the soon to be released album “Diamond Amongst The Thievesâ€.
THE WINNIE COOPERS (based in Gold Coast) originally began as a two piece band and, over time, has evolved into a blazing 5piece Hip Hop band. The Winnie Coopers are: Eloquence (vocals/guitar), The Educator (Vocals), Fingers Malone (drums), Young Tubs (Bass) and Bigbad (DJ/percussion).
The last two years have seen The Winnie Coopers take to the stage at most of the major Australian festivals including The Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, BBQ Breaks and Parklife. During their time together, The Winnie Coopers have also been blessed to play alongside some heavyweight international superstar’s such as De La Soul, Jurassic 5, The Beastie Boys, Lyrics Born and Ugly Duckling, just to name a few.
The Winnie Coopers will be playing their new material from their self titled debut album and the soon to be released album “Worth The Weightâ€.
