Alterlabel est une jeune structure composée de musiciens, producteurs et créatifs. Nous créons le plus possible, et s'il n'y a personne pour nous entendre, l'apocalypse ne va pas tarder... Le site www.alterlabel.com est la plateforme de notre collectif. Celui-ci se compose de MISTER FRITES, AD MAYR, KID CHARLEMAGNE, ABELCOAST, FEAT THE VIBE, DAMNATOR, MACROABSTRACT, SUNRUHE, auxquels s’ajoutent de fréquents invités tels MICA, ALAN, SUNKING, ZIKKAT... Nous produisons notre propre musique en solo et collaborons dans plusieurs formations : DIESE, LUNETTES & CAPUCHE, MORE UNDERGROUND THAN HELL, KIDABEL, SENSIBLE, vs PRIMESAUTIER THEATRE, le COLLECTIF MAZIF et le DAMNATOR ORCHESTRA. Nos productions studio partent dans toutes les directions, Hip-hop, psychedelic, folk, electronica, dub, house, funk, musiques expérimentales. Notre collectif s’appuie sur nos points communs : l'endroit où nous avons grandi (le sud de la France), les opinions culturelles et politiques que nous partageons et le souci constant de ne pas perdre nos illusions. Chacun de nous est très engagé dans des collaborations avec d'autres domaines artistiques comme le cinéma, le théâtre, la vidéo ou la danse. Grâce au Web nous cherchons à diffuser nos univers et étendre notre réseau. Sur notre site, nous proposons une cinquantaine de nos compositions en format audio et une dizaine de vidéo. Tout ceci est gratuit, accessible grâce à un simple téléchargement. Alterlabel a adopté la licence Creative Commons. Vivre sa musique et la faire vivre pour d'autres. Voilà résumée notre démarche.

Alterlabel is a fresh underground structure of young musicians, producers, mcs before the world ends. We'd like to create as much as possible, and if there's nowone to hear it, its like the apocalypse was all ready there.. AlterLabel is our platform. It is composed of the Alterkestra members : MISTER FRITES, AD MAYR, KID CHARLEMAGNE, ABELCOAST, FEAT THE VIBE, DAMNATOR, MACROABSTRACT, SUNRUHE, and frequent guests. We all produce our own music in solo and have collaboration-bands with each other : DIESE, More Underground Than Hell, KIDABEL, SENSIBLE, TERRA INCOGNITA and COLLECTIF MAZIF. Our studio productions come in every direction, Hip-hop, psychedelic, electonica, dub, house, funk, and experimental music but they all share a common background : The place where we grew up (Nîmes, south of France), the cultural and political options and opinions we share, and the constant surch for not losing our illusions. All of us are very much engaged in work collaborations, beetween us and for other artistic domains such as cinema, drama, video art, danse. We entend to extend the meetings and the network trough the web. Basically were just tourmented excited and want to express it by any means before the world ends. The mainstream industry and major labels obviously limit aour freedom of expression and diffusion. Ideologically we stand against all majors.Underground is a choice and thanks to the Creative Commons Licence our productions are available for free, and its legal. This licence agreement is chosen by more and more artists all over the world. Its the legal solution to free diffusion of creation in the internet era. The artist still owns his creation : it can be downloadable for free, but permission of the artist is nessecary for non-private use.
Through ALTERLABEL we live our music and make it live for others.
