Depuis mars 2000, le Baloard ouvre vos perspectives culturelles et gastronomiques.
Le Baloard est un établissement hybride. Il réunit sur 300m2 un restaurant, une galerie d’Art et une salle de spectacle.
Le Baloard (boulevard en occitan) est un lieu de convivialité.
Spectacles /// Située en contrebas du restaurant, la scène accueille chaque soir un nouveau spectacle. Musique, théâtre, danse, performances et lectures composent le paysage scénique du Baloard. Artistes de renoms, découvertes singulières ou illustres inconnus ont fait la renommée de la salle. Des esthétiques diverses y sont représentées. La jauge de la salle privilégie la proximité. D’une atmosphère feutrée à l’embrasement collectif, tout est possible une fois les marches descendues.
Galerie /// Plasticiens, photographes et peintres s’approprient les murs du restaurant et implantent leurs installations dans l’espace. Chaque mois l’intervention est renouvelée, proposant ainsi un large panorama sur la création. Se restaurer dans une galerie, c’est s’asseoir sur les interdits.
Restauration /// La carte variée propose des spécialités aux accents eurasiens. Du repas gargantuesque au simple grignotage, le Baloard comble tous les appétits. Outre la restauration sur place, le Baloard propose également une activité traiteur fortement appréciée des structures culturelles montpelliéraines (Théâtre des Treize Vents, Montpellier Danse, etc…).
