Today Mario is in the studio to record new stuff with thomas, craig and størfan for "das huhn". And our new album is almost done! "he ate the lamp now he's a fan" will be released in september via Cake and Coffee Records ! At the moment we do the last mixing to give it away for mastering in the beginning of august. In autumn we will travel around and get the new songs on stage in some european cities and festivals (look at our dates. there will be more soon!)
The new album is as charming, clear and of wide scope as the last, but more forceful and diversified. it's a painted collage! It´s still lofi but now we play in the lofi-championsleague ( it´s very warm and honest).
Besides the music our art looms large so the music is intimately connected with it. Pascal works on big narrative installations and Anne is working on paintings and sculptures. We will update our artpage soon. Together we also created a run, called "nine short stories" in which a drawing and a sentence always conflate to a story. Mario is currently working on a solo-album trying to mix free-jazz-improvisation with pop structures. He's also still busy with his other band "Das Huhn".
