DAS HUHN was born in summer 2005, trying to play and not think. All music is completely free improvised.
We recorded eight tapes full of music this summer in the GoldenGate Club in Berlin with an old 8-track-taperecorder. The best tracks are compiled on an album with the title "The GoldenGate Tapes" (soon available). You can listen to one of them here.
Since fall 2006 the guitar/drum-duo is being joined by a saxophone and thus became a trio. We've been making simple stereo-mic-recordings in our rehearsing-room lately. One session was recorded on dec. 6th, the so-called "Santa Claus Tape". Unfortunately the tracks are too long to upload them at myspace. So we cut out a short part from the middle of the first session to give you at least some impression..
