MOON PiLOTs Michal Sapir, formerly lead singer and bass-player/guitarist in the bands Baby Tooth (NYC) and Zero Balancer (London), takes her idiosyncratic songs back to their raw, exposed and solitary origins. Her gritty and emotional music bears the influences of the Smiths, Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth, if they all signed up to the hand-held aesthetics of Dogme 95 and stripped down their songs to only voice and electric guitar.
