Folk Art, woodcarving, painting, cooking, quilting, digital photography, ceramics, antiquing. I love going to flea markets and auctions and house sales and junk shops. I'm also a homebody who is happy just nesting. Movies, TV, music... But you know what I like to do most? LAUGH!!!!

Loving the movies, but there's nothing in the theater at the moment. All time faves include: THE WOMEN, ALL ABOUT EVE, LIFEBOAT, KING KONG (the original), STAGE DOOR, ALIENS, POLTERGEIST anything Busbee Berkley...

This season it's WEEDS, DEXTER (although I'm still on the moral line about a show that glamorizes serial murderers while spitting anti gay epithets), AMAZING RACE, HGTV in general, GREY'S ANATOMY is my guiltiest pleasure, TOP CHEF. But mostly I am just awaiting the return of PROJECT RUNWAY.
Got a pile next to my bed at the moment: MYRA BRECKENRIDGE, THE DRESSER, HISTORY OF LOVE, KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN are all there for work reasons. I read two magazines each week, THE WEEK and NEW YORK MAGAZINE. And I've been doing at least one puzzle every night before sleeping. They say it helps the brain to grow.
Openly gay cops, firemen, teachers, judges. It's simple to be an openly gay person in show biz. But show me an openly gay politician who is willing to stand up for true American VAlues against those superstitious god-waggers and you've shown me a HERO. In the public eye I admire GORE VIDAL, JAMES LEVINE, SIDNEY LUMET and SUSAN SARANDON among many others.
