Hello! My name is KINA. I am a SINGER, SONGWRITER and pretty much ALL AROUND ENTERTAINER. I LOVE TO LAUGH!!! Anybody that can make me laugh is alright with me. As a friend, I'm extremely honest, loyal, somewhat guarded, protective, and generally the person called when a fresh perspective is needed! I have recorded two records. My second record, the self titled, "KINA", was recorded with DREAMWORKS and released in 2000 to reviews that made me very happy. I've done numerous television appearances, including JAY LENO, was featured in ROLLING STONE, VANITY FAIR, PEOPLE and TIME MAGAZINE. I was deemed BUZZWORTHY by MTV....and am still in rotation on VH1. My first record, "STILL CLIMBING", was recorded while I was a member of the GRAMMY nominated group BROWNSTONE, and was released in 1998 on the MJJ/Epic label. As a songwriter, I've licensed quite a few of my songs to television productions like "Girlfriends" and "Strong Medicine" and also to movies like "Beautyshop".I have taken a long hiatus and honestly been half in and half out of music for a while now. I'm taking it in stride. I'm gigging some, writing more and adapting to the way things are while still growing. It's a journey, and I hope you keep coming back.
