Music has been the foundation of his entertainment aspirations, which received clarity in the winter of 03 when Kyle purchased his first set of turntables. As a Hiphop fanatic, he wanted to elevate the art by becoming a leader and representative assuring that the culture would continue to advance. The best way for him to do this was by taking the role known to many as the backbone of Hiphop: The DJ. Since then, Kyle Maguire is now recognized as DJ Arkitek. Why Arkitek? Musically he is Arkitek based on the way he constructs and designs his mix. A current student majoring in Arts Entrepreneurship, he is Arkitek from an entrepreneurs state of mind creating and developing new ways to run a successful entertainment business. Arkitek is a member of F.E.W. which stands for Fifth Element Warriors who have recently headlinded the Chicago Hip Hop Theatre Festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
