Columbia College Hip Hop Congress is an organization that uses Hip Hop Culture to educate, empower and unite individuals. We preserve and evolve Hip Hop Culture by inspiring social change and cultural creativity within the community; working to involve everyone in the Hip Hop Culture.

As a new chapter, Columbia College Chicago Hip Hop Congress's first event was a fundraiser that was held on January 31st, 2006. 'Keep It Alive Hip Hop Jam' was a true Hip Hop night and brought out all elements of Hip Hop. With performances by: Kidz in the Hall, Mass Hysteria, Iomas Morad, Ill Legit, Shots on Site, Twisted Knowledge, DJ Arkitek.
