From different corners of the world the members of The Gravity Guild converged in the music metropolis of Los Angeles determined to break the mold and redefine the sound of modern rock. Together they are accomplishing that goal.
In August of 2006, The Gravity Guild engineered and released their self-titled, debut album. Since the albumâ€™s release they have toured Southern California headlining several shows on Hollywoodâ€™s Sunset Strip at landmark venues such as the House of Blues, Viper Room and the Knitting Factory.
Utilizing their strengths as individuals and growing stronger everyday, The Gravity Guild has become much more than the sum of its parts. Master of his domain, guitarist Jay Way has innovated a wall-of-sound that provides the foundation on which their music is built. Vocalist Colin Simson melds raw vocal skill with evocative lyrics and unbridled emotion. Completing this exceptional line up are the newcomers: bassist Jon Wheatley attacks the low end with vicious voracity while heavy-hitting drummer Abel Vallejo ties it all together with style and skill.This new line-up offers a fresh take on our songs and has revitalized our drive and our passion...And we've never sounded better!
