Lost Highway Hank Williams, SR.
"Im a rollin stone all alone and lost
For a life of sin I have paid the cost
When I pass by all the people say
Just another guy on the lost highway
Just a deck of cards and a jug of wine
And a womans lies makes a life like mine
O the day we met, I went astray
I started rolling down that lost highway
I was just a lad, nearly 22
Neither good nor bad, just a kid like you
And now Im lost, too late to pray
Lord I take a cost, o the lost highway
Now boys dont start to ramblin 'round
On this road of sin are you sorrow bound
Take my advice or youll curse the day
You started rollin down that lost highway
The Road Not Taken
Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

One part punk, one part cowboy, one part hippie- 100% rebel and outsider.
I'm a beautiful monster from outer space too...

My Interests

I dig Antique, Classic, and Vintage bicycles, moto-bicycles, motorcycles, cars, etc.
Cool old junk & stuff;Like just wierd oddball curiosities and the like.
movies, music, books, toys. I dig Science Fiction, Horror, and generally spacy and creepy crawly type stuff... But I dig dramas, mysteries, some true crime, adventure, etc.
History pertaining to transportation; especially during the Edwardian period, but up through the fifties and sixties holds my interest as well.
Metal working, woodworking (though I have no talent with it), gardening, drafting and design, tinkering with wierd old junk, and so on...
Playing bass guitar and writing songs (whether good, bad or mediocre doesn't matter- it's the creative process that's important here; the D.I.Y form of artistic self expression.), and just being up on stage kickin' with the band, givin' all I got 'cause it's all I got to give; it's all I know, 'cause really, I don't know any better.
I dunno, my interests are so many and varied; there's a lot of diversity in what I'm into. It's all about creativity and the process.

I'd like to meet:

George A. Wyman
my shipwreck coming in... I'd like to have met my father's father. From what Dad has told me he and I, as an adult, probably would have gotten along very well...

Music:

too much to list. My taste runs the spectrum, and spans many genres. Some favorites are: Buddy Holly, Alice Cooper, John Oszajca, RAMONES, Hank III, Hank Sr., Hank Jr., Black Flag, Social Distortion, Sisters of Mercy, Kingston Trio, Eddie Cochran, Bo Diddley, Neil Diamond, Grateful Dead, The Wake, The Irish Rovers, Iggy Pop, Doors, Willie Nelson, Tall Toad, D.A.C., Purdins, Johnny Cash, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Donovan, Chuck Berry, D.S.C., Lightnin' Hopkins, Leatherstrip, Steppinwolf, Dylan's alright, Pigface, Waylon, Tom Petty effin' WROCKS!!! Ministry, Haggard, ...

Movies:

Too many to list. I relate better to the characters of light and shadow who live in that silver screen. Real people seem to get on my nerves...

Television:

yes.

Books:

too many to list. Some authors and titles I dig are: Bradbury, Kerouac, Allan Dean Foster, Ginsberg, Poe, King, S.West, Terry Pratchett, Henry Rollins, George A. Wyman, H.G. Wells, Twain, and many more. Cool Hand Luke, Roughing It, Mort, Reaper Man, Paper Moon, Christine, On The Road, Desolation Angels, Bound For Glory, Motorcycle Diaries, Across America on a Motor Bicycle 1903, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Dandelion Wine, and so many more...

Heroes:

I don't like the term 'Hero', as it places someone on a pedestal, as if one is better than, or above, another. I think anyone can accomplish anything they set their mind to. Everyone has the potential; whether they choose to live up to it or not is another thing. So I will say that some of the people from whom I draw inspiration are: George A. Wyman, Patricia "patience" Potter, Woody Guthrie, Che Guevera, George Lucas, Jim Henson, Henry, Charles Addams, Ray Bradbury, and many more...

Whizzer percenter

In the history of motorcycling there came to surface a term- "Outlaw," and/or "1%'er." This stemmed from those few (or '1%' out of the law abiding 99% of riders) that did not follow "convention", th...
