Calamity Menagerie

Any way the wind blows...

About Me

Calamity Menagerie hail from all over the garden state as well as Queens, NY and PA. We feature members from The Omatics, Full of Fancy, Tonight We Dance, and Morb. Former members include members of Fuzzy Navel, The Opposites, and The Ergs.
" They are a musical entourage that is no stranger to the New Jersey music scene. Their music mixes the usual guitar, bass, drum lineup with xylophone, violin, synth, and accordion, making their sound anything but usual. They have an EP out on Danimal Records called "Tom Devil's New Year", which features songs from a full length movie that the band made with Devil Duck Productions that is also available on DVD.
."
We would like some horn players. Are you a horn player? Then we want you!
You have been marked on my profile map!

Reviews of us: "a unique, bouncy sound emanating from such instruments as a xylophone, flute, and a violin."
- Asbury Park Press.

"Equal parts Phantom of the Opera, Danny Elfman, late-90's rock, and that grandmother who always pinches your cheeks raw in nightmares"
-Gorby's Corner Of Indifference
The name dropping list: yo we've played with Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Streetlight Manifesto, Jason Webley, Kevin Devine, Kiss Kiss, Corn Mo, The Burden Brothers, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Voltaire, Against All Authority, Suburban Legends, Patent Pending, The Feverfew, Shira Girl, Julz-A, Outsmarting Simon, Hidden in Plain View, Houston Calls, A Hero From A Thousand Paces, The Modern Day Saint, Days Like These, The Junior Varsity, and a bunch more emo bands
