MOLA1

I was told at an early age that I'd be famous.

About Me

I've lived half of my life in the Motor City, and the other half in Los Angeles, hence the name MOLA1. I'm a first generation Albanian-American. I began to write my own songs in 1988, when I was 9 years old. In the beginning, writing my little flows and verses helped me cope with my 12 year old sister passing away from cancer. I had to suck it up and grow up quick. I was like a nine year old going on 20.
I've been pursuing a professional career in sales and majoring in English early in my college years. You always have to have a fall-back plan. I've been in countless rap battles, performed at various venues in Detroit and have had appearances on a couple of radio stations in Motown. I feel like something's got to give eventually.
I have yet to record in a "professional" studio, but am slowly building one in my home office. I've got a decent keyboard, a weak little beat machine and a computer where I lay it all down, but I can't wait to record in a studio to see what I can really sound like.
