I guess you could say that we are a God & Country Band because most of our music is about the two things that we love the most: our God and our Country. We have been together for nearly 20 years and do a mix of oldies, bluegrass,
Christian, patriotic, or whatever else we are willing to try. But, our main venue has been singing to the true heroes of our nation, our veterans and active military.
We have had opportunities to sing for events attended by The Joint Chiefs of Staff, Donald Rumsfield, Newt Gingridge, Bob Dole, Mickey & Jan Rooney, the cast of 24, and to open for oldie groups like Earth Wind and Fire, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Nancy Sinatra, and Billy Ray Cyrus. Weve traveled from Boston to Reno, Dallas to DC and many points in between and have had opportunities to do things that we thought we would never get to do but, the biggest honor for us is the chance to sing for the men and women that have sacrificed their own personal freedoms to provide freedom for the rest of us. And, as Christians we often have the chance to share our faith with them and let them know True freedom is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that by trusting, by faith, in his death, burial and resurrection, they can have that relationship with Him too.
