I'm not a friend collector, everyone here, I know through fighting circles, music circles or I've known them most of my life. There are a few that are strictly from Myspace. If you're a friend collector, please go away, I won't add you.I come with Strength in my arms, Truth on my lips, and Honour in my heart - Hero's Code-- I'm a creature of my experiences, whether they be the pain of heartbreak or a sun-warmed rock against my skin. I'm a country girl at heart, I love the city and the things it has to entertain, but I have always been more comfortable sitting out in the middle of nowhere looking at stars, enjoying the sacred space that surrounds me. I'm not one for speaking, more for writing or communicating through touch. I find it more meaningful to interact with people on that level, or just listening to them talk. Some take that as being shy or boring, which is also true, but I find communicating on a more spiritual level is much more enlightening and fulfilling to me. Guess that's a side effect of being a Massage Therapist and a Veil-walker.I love being active, even if I'm the biggest slacker in the world. Currently, I keep myself occupied with Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The latter I compete in, and I'm currently ranked somewhere around 20th-23rd in the Nation in the NAGA curcuit. I also love to rock climb, even if I don't get out to the rock face much. I love challenging myself, and when I'm on the face or on the mat, the main person I am struggling against is myself and surpassing my own boundaries. I'm also a traveler, if there's a place to go, I want to go there, as not all who wander are lost. :D I've been through most of the US and at least across the border both north and south. Have one country in Europe down and planning on another, maybe 2, next year.Spiritually, I define myself as a Celtic Reconstructionist (CR), believing in the deities of the Irish Celts, and dedicated to the Mhorrighain. I'm currently doing research to develop a massage approach utilising the early western celtic healing practices. It's a slow process, but a very enriching one as well. I take my spirituality into every realm of my life, it is a guiding force for me, and has helped mold me into who I am today. I grew up with the foundations of this path, so I guess I can't call myself a convert or a "born again". I also hold no ill towards any other religion, I don't come with that baggage. So if you do have issues with other religions, namely Christianity, please don't come to me looking for justification in your issues. I don't share them, nor do I tolerate them much.For basic information, you can start here for the basic questions. My own practices are described somewhat here . If you actually wish to talk with me about this, please be prepared for a trip to the outdoors, and a full day to talk about it. It's not an easy explaination, as there's no book, besides nature, that you can read to find out about it. Or, just go outside, close your eyes, and open your mind. You can hear the land speak to you, she can tell you everything you wish to know.My journey to this point has been an interesting one. I've been rebuilding myself for the last 6 years, and I think I'm doing much better than previous to the destruction of my being.
