With the right tools you can do anything...

About Me

I own several ex-military armored cars, a Honda Insight (hybrid), a 70's muscle car, 2 motorcycles and a huge military truck. I'm very independent minded and don't fit into any one cubby hole as I'm pro-choice, vote democrat locally, more centrist and conservative nationally and give money to likes of both the NRA and the ACLU. I'm meticulous, forthright, craftsmanlike, independent, libertarian, geeky and I tend to like goth/punk lasses in corsets, vinyl, etc...

My Interests

Armored Cars, British Militaria (and history), craftsmanship, Macintosh computers, art nouveau (Mucha, Klimt), art deco, architecture, gaming, Japan, anime (Miyazaki, Shirow, Matsumoto), Kurosawa, Celtic Heritage, reenacting, British Military History, Kilts, military science, gothic industrial & classical music, constitutional law, corsets, shiny fetish, vinyl, latex

I'd like to meet:

More friends.Beware... If you have thin skin or can't deal with someone who might disagree with you, you're probably not going to like me because I'll politely argue a given subject with spirt. Mind you, I can disagree with someone emphatically on a given subject and yet still get along smashingly with them. Politics is politics, but friends are friends, or should be.

Music:

From Early Music, Hildegard von Bingen, Estampie, Sequentia, Anonymous 4, Goth (the old stuff), Dead Can Dance, Siouxsie, QNTAL, Faun, Deine Lakaien, Silke Bischoff, 18 Summers, Cocteau Twins, industrial, Das Ich, Blut Engel, Celtic, Clannad, Altramar, Tannahill Weavers, Indian Ragas and Talas, Ravi Shankar, Prog Rock, Yes, Gentle Giant, Ambient Brian Eno, Phillip Glass

Television:

Best I've seen in a long time that stuck the imagery with me is the Battlestar Galactica miniseries Sci-Fi did. Enterprise is pretty good, so is Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. Farscape was also good. Other than that, Home Time and This Old House.

Heroes:
