Late 30's suburban male trying to accept that he can't party like he's 19 anymore. Paroled from California and New Jersey, now stranded in Atlanta, GA looking for decent food besides BBQ. I still listen to awful music but dress like a total corporate jerk or an out of work longshoreman. I hate TV but love movies and read WAY too damn much. I dislike hunting but like firearms. Red wine, dark chocolate, good bourbon and strong coffee fuel most of my vices these days. I behave myself now - for the most part.
It's been a brutal past few years for me but I'm still getting up and trying my best every day. Doing what I can with what I've got. I've become more at peace with myself now than I ever have. Better late than never, I guess.
Don't ask me to friend your unheard of band just because I listen to the same music you do. Don't ask me to friend you if you're some teen porn cam chick - Go spam someone else, please. I don't want a goddamn free iPod, iPhone, Ringtone or Starbucks card so don't pester me with that crap, either. If you're going to snub me in public, don't bother trying to be friends with me online - you're wasting both our time. I'm OK with having only a few true friends rather than a bunch of fair-weather ones.
