Sounds Like: A subtle mix between Cornelis Vreeswijk and Thore Skoghman on downers, singing in a long forgotten, rural swedish dialect, 17:th century french bards, and himself just doing his thang. His thang sounds like cats and dogs, meowing and barking, the rooster on top of the dungheep and swings like the thunder and rain of the northern archipelago. Dan Viktor's mostly about plain rough-swinging blues and pop tunes with a highly energetic and desperate feeling, to go along with strange and sometimes dark, humoristic lyrics, revealing everything from theorys on extraordinary human decay and confused prophetic tales to the usual real life struggle of sexual love between men, women and beasts, added with fearful conclusions on the matter of being alive in general. Musically quite free in genré, but somewhere in the folk rock n' roll badlands with influences from blues, cajun, jazz, hard rock and swedish and anglosaxian folklore.
