I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi! My name is Charlie. I am a working man, but I am also a singer-songwriter, and recently I have been writing poetry(you can read it on my blogs) I have been happily married for 35 years. We had a wonderful son that we lost in a tragic, unnecessary accident. He was 22 years old. He is dearly missed. My main interests are music ( listening and playing), and my tastes are very eclectic. I like to go fishing, ocean, river, lakes, ponds, whatever. Mostly catch and release. I spent some time in the Navy in the 60's on an LST (tank landing ship) and I have been to Panama, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Columbia, and Mexico. My wife has been teaching elementary school since 1985 and is quite good at it. Many of her students still keep in touch with her. My son Peter was a young writer and my wife and I published his work in three books, Living On Paper Street, and Slipping Past The Pages of Life, and Street Drops, all of which are available on XLIBRIS.com. You can also visit his website at peterthomasjames.com
