About Me

I'm a 26-year-old musician living in Memphis, TN. I grew up here and in Mississippi, so I'm kind of a redneck, but I'm a well-read redneck. Books are some of the best things you can give a child (thanks mom and dad!). I'm currently working as a Karaoke DJ and as a tour guide. I ultimately would like to be an entertainer of some kind, be it in music or acting.

My Interests

I love to play music and sing (I play guitar and piano), as well as going to the movies,live theatre, concerts, nature walks, and I frequent Karaoke bars... but I'm also up for trying new things.

I'd like to meet:

I'm here to network with my friends and with other musicians, but I would also like to meet fun-loving, interesting, positive, open-minded people. I only ask that you know me in real life before you friend-request me, or if you don't know me, drop me a line or two before doing so, so that we can each figure out what the other person is all about. I'm getting really tired of getting these friend requests that are links to porn (bots) or someone trying to entice me into forking over my hard-earned dough for the ripoff du jour. In either case, whatever you're sellin' I ain't a-buyin', so kindly bugger off and not waste our time, mmkay?

Music:

I listen to just about anything and everything.

Movies:

Saved, Say Uncle, Click, Superman Returns, Boondock Saints, Lady In The Water, Sideways, The Benchwarmers, The Guardian, anything by Kevin Smith.

Television:

Fox Sunday night line-up, Nick-at-Nite, Law and Order (especially SVU), Crime shows on Court TV and A&E.

Books:

Anything by Shirley Jackson, anything by Shel Silverstein, Psycho-Cybernetics, true-crime novels, comedies, horror novels, but most of the time, like the book whore that I am, I'll read anything I can get my hands on. I can't even walk by a bulletin board without stopping to read it.
