Welcome to the magickal world of The Radio8Ball Show! A world where questions are answered by picking songs at random and interpreting them like musical tarot cards.
ON THE RADIO: There are two broadcast versions of The Radio8Ball Show. The classic version is hosted by Andras Jones and Tammy T and can be heard every Tuesday from 6 to 8pm (pst) at www.kaosradio.org. Now there is a new AM version broadcasting Fridays from Noon to 1pm on http://www.1150kknw.com/. The Radio8Ball Show classic does musical divination using the CD shuffle function. The AM version features live musicians, celebrity guests, and calls from the audience. Guests on the radio show have included Rickie Lee Jones, Dan Bern, Michael Penn, John Wesley Harding & hundreds of other great travelling musicians some of whom are featured in our top friends below. LIVE ONSTAGE: Part experimental theater. Part rock and roll cabaret. Part mystic mind-expansion. The Radio8Ball Show is a night of live rock and roll divination hosted by Andras Jones featuring a different live musical guest every night. In the stage show the songs are chosen by spinning a large wheel divided up into 13 symbols which correspond with songs from the artist's repertoire. Although the use of a spinning wheel as an element of a rock and roll show is nothing new (Elvis Costello pioneered the song wheel idea on his late-80's tours) its use for divination in this show is a neat twist on an old idea.
