They got their start in this great little place called OBIE'S... i have a hard time explaining all of the origins, connections, intermingling, musical cross breeding, influences, venues, open-mics and friendships in this quaint little music scene in St. Louis. And the thing is, you simply MUST go through all of that to explain the EAST END GIRLS to an unknowing. the EAST END GIRLS are a product of that extended, sometimes confusing and shifting musical family/community that came out of that one time and place in St. Louis. YOU JUST GOTTA GO SEE 'EM, MAN! Sometimes there just aren't enough words in our great english language to describe something.
