I am a sucker for good food,meaningful conversations and being in the company of good people.I root for the underdog and the little guy. I am a daydreamer and there are somedays I believe that I am the black version of Walter Mitty. I am drawn to the elderly, the eccentric, and little children.I believe that they have very insightful and fun views on life.I believe life is one big Journey full of Fear and Wonder,Mountains and Valleys and Dragons and Princesses. I am fascinated with pocket watches,bowler hats and Clark Kent stlyed eyeglasses.

My Interests

I like to read. I also write poetry and attempt to write short stories. A good time for me is going to the art musuem or to the theatre to see a live performance. I enjoy the arts-both performing and visual. I would consider myself a lover and an appreciator of the arts and not an artist myself. I like to listen to music. I truly believe that music can make a huge difference in someone's life. It has gotten me through some crazy times in my own life. I play role playing games,watch science fiction and fantasy related films and television as well as read and collect comic books.(Yes,I am a big fanboy "nerd"..and damn proud of it)I enjoy books about philosophy and religion and usually I enjoy dialouge with those of many different faiths and beliefs. I admire those with strong convictions and in a way I see those types of people as a bright light to the darkness of this world.
