DUAH’S NEW SINGLE (PARTY ALL NIGHT)

YO THIS IS SO FUNNY THEY R TRYING TO SING MY SONG (PARTY ALL NIGHT)Duah (pronounced Do-wah) was born in Mississippi; and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. The name Duah, by way of his father, is a name derived from Ghana, West Africa. He is a descended of a well known king in Africa from the 1960’s. His Grandfather was the king of the Ashanti Tribe, Well known as the “Ashanti Warriors”. The name Duah has several meanings such as Royalty, life, Energy and also Prayer . Duah is not just another rapper, but a creator of art, sound, and lyrics. Since the age of nine, inspired by his surroundings, Duah began to write musical lyrics and poetry. In 1996 his first poem titled (Somebody) was published in a book entitled “ The Anthologies of Young Americans” when he was in the six grade. Soon after, he was accepted into Nocca The School of Arts in New Orleans, for creative writing.In the 8th grade Duah joined a group of four called Soul Disciples, releasing their first song, “Mississippi Bomb Fire.” In the year 1998, the song conquered the airwaves, receiving many spins on JZ94.5 in the Gulf Coast area. They went on to perform in local talent shows and parties before the break up in 1999. Soon after, he joined a two man group called EMD & Omega. The group released one single called “ITS EMD & Omega.” Duah’s first solo single, I'M RIDDIN “Cadillac Swervin” was getting rotation in and around the Houston area, Duah also writes music for several local artist and plans on writing songs for national recording artist. He can write R&B, Hip-Hop, Country, Rock, and Gospel,Duah has opened up for well known artist such as Yung Jeezy, Keyshia Cole, Young Bloodz , Lil Webbie, Lil Boosie ,Young Joc, Juvenile, T-pain, and Cheri Dennis from Bad Boy records. He has performed for local colleges in the Houston area such as Texas Southern University, Houston Community College, and Rice University. Duah has appeared on The Houston Media Source television station, a local Houston channel. He has done radio commercials for a known magazine company based in Houston called “Got It Magazine.”Duah currently travels from city to city promoting his music, and is set to release his debut album, “By Way of Ghana”, in 2008. He is also set to release his frist poetry book entitled “The Prince Of Poetry” Despite ups and downs within the music industry, Duah has managed to overcome many obstacles. He continues to make good music for the world to enjoy, and uses his hardships as inspiration. Prince Duah is an artist whose work will reel you into his world.
