The beat rides out as J. KiDD props the headphones up on the closet door. "Anutha banga", he quotes as the smooth flow on his latest track rounds out the record. When asked, some artists will say that music is their life. J. KiDD will tell you that 'music gives him life, it is the very soul and energy in is being.'J. KiDD spent childhood going back and forth between LA and Houston. The fusion of the hustle from 105th and Normandy mixed with the flow from Reed and Scott gives this MC an original flow that's not mirrored after any MC you've ever heard.J. KiDD got started in the game producing tracks for local artists and after realizing that the up and comers were coming out with soft, weak lyrics, he took his shot at crossing over and hasn't looked back. Graduating from Sterling High School in south Houston, J. KiDD went on to become a scholarship runner on the track and field team at Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS. It was there that he recorded and released his first compilation album "The Game Don't Change", which went on to become a local hit and received recognition in Louisiana and Houston. J. KiDD went on to record other neighborhood favorites such as "Blame it on the Bass" (check it out above), and "Dumb Out".J. KiDD is currently working on his first Major Label release to be called, "J. KiDD Presents". He will be sampling some fun material with popular artists such as "Roll With Me" feat. T Pain, "Da Boy Hustle" feat. Lil Wayne, and several others.
