About Me

I'm the Program Manager and Loud Rock Director for CILU, 102.7 FM in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. I'm also the former 'full on' Music Director, though I've given over quite a bit of the responsibility of that to someone new in the interest of focusing on being a better Program Manager. It's also going to allow me to focus more on 'loud rock' which means I can bring more heavy metal, punk, hard core, hard rock and all the genres and mash-ups to Thunder Bay. I also host a 7 hour and 6 hour (yes, 13 hours) radio program called 'Blowing Up The Lakehead' every single Monday night from Midnight until 7 am; and Wednesday night from 1 am until 7 am, Eastern Standard Time. I believe our station plays more metal and loud rock than most other campus/community station (and a damn site more than any commercial stations!!) that's why we've dubbed the station 'Kill-U Radio'! I'm always looking to bring new music to the station and to all of our loyal listeners here in Thunder Bay. If you are an artist, or represent one and want to have your music played on CILU, hit me up here and we can set it up. I'm very easily bribed as well, especially with black t-shirts (size 'L'), black coffee, and cds and vinyl of all colours!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Bands/Artists in the 'loud rock' vein. Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk, Hardcore, all are welcome! Promoters, Labels, Radio and Industry individuals! Fans, Friends and Families! Anyone interested in music, community radio and the freedom to rock out. Please note: even though I'm a 'radio guy', I really would like to keep this page focused on loud rock.
