VOGUE GYRATOR

About Me

Vogue Gyrator are a band from Brighton, UK, whose music is all improvised. Nothing is discussed beforehand and all communication is done with instruments. When we formed nearly ten years ago we started playing standards but it just didn't work out. So we decided to play whatever came into our heads and stuck with this simple but effective formula. It makes deciding the set list easy.We have been on a three year sabbatical while various members were doing their thing which explains lack of recording and publicity material.VG have some 2007 gig dates coming up - The Albert Pub on the 4th May and The Brunswick Pub on the 26th May in Hove in conjunction with Brighton Fringe Festival. Remember everything you hear is completely improvised, no signals, no discussion, just pure musical expression. More dates to be announced.Photographs of the band taken by Xavier Itter @ gmail.com.
