I will go on believing that love is the future

About Me

I will go on believing that love is the future I deserve. Peace the future whose time has come. I'm energetic and intelligent, always seeking and questioning. Not quite as confident as I appear to be. What happens in my interior life holds more meaning then what's happening in the 'real' world. Thoughtful and inquisitive. Wanting to belong yet fiercely independent. Such a conundrum. Complex, grateful and happy. I love reality tv, go figure. I'm a sucker for human nature. Paranormal events don't scare me. On the contrary, I welcome them. I've been using ormus daily since June of 2005. There's always more to do then time available but I'm learning to go with the flow, paying attention to what's absolutely necessary so that I have more time for meaningful laziness. It'd be nice if I got out every morning for a brisk walk as opposed to sitting in front of the computer playing solitaire. It'd be nice if I started back doing yoga on a regular basis too. I drink too much coffee. I work for myself so lots of time is spent with my business which involves critical thought, compassion, humor and skill. I try to approach it sensibly so that there's something left for me. I still believe in love. I give more than I take and do my best to make the world a better place for others. I can sometimes be selfish, almost always brave, gullible, perceptive, enigmatic, stubborn, and optimistic.

I'd like to meet:

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'd like to meet George W and Dick. I know I'd drive them absolutely crazy. Lunch with the Dalai Lama and them would be a joy. I'd like to go camping with Brad, Angelina, Ellen, Bono, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Keith Olberman, Terry Gross,Sir Paul and Sting. I'd take 'em all up to Alsea Falls and then we'd find a nice camping spot over on the coast.

Beautiful and Talented People

Music:

Dance when you're broken open. Dance if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free. Rumi

Television:

PBS:Discovery:History:TLC: TBS:MSNBC:Animal Planet:All in moderation, of course ;-)

Books:

I subscribe to a few magazines: The Sun, Shift, The Mountain Record. Being able to keep current with them requires most of time available for reading.Any and all books hold treasure and a few of my favorites read this year: The Wonder Spot, The Traveler, Cold Mountain,Waking Up In Time, Running with Scissors.**Hidden Messages in Water** by Masaru Emoto gets my highest recommendation. (www.masaru-emoto.net)

Heroes:

People who make a difference by virtue of their beautiful spirits, enrich our world with not only progress but a wisdom of caring for our little heaven home earth. So I would have to start with Micheal Angelo for creating beauty, and Leonardo Divinci for being outrageously different and individually defiant to the status-quo. All of the brilliant minds that dared to passionately defy the nobility and religious orders of a world thought to be flat. Copernicus, Galilaeo,Ludvig Von. B Mozart. All through our written history at the risk of death and personal injury these people ultimately changed our lives for the better. Jesus of Nazerath, Martin Luther King, Ann Sullivan and her protoge' Helen Keller. Mother Theresa, Nelson and Winnie Mandela, Ghandi, Buhdda, Kahlil Gibrahn, Leo Tolstoy, Tom Hanks, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Buzz Aldren, survivors of wars and attrocities who have the greatest spirits of all and have forgiven. Albert Einstien who loved our world and wanted to say hello to God by his beautiful theory.Teachers, students, philosophers and thinkers. Art and music, love and PASSION.

Sympathy for the Devil

I know that Halloween is coming and it's a scary time of year, but nothing could have prepared me for the fright I felt when seeing the Rolling Stones in a Radio Shack tv advertisement. Is nothing sac...

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

It was a mellow and laid back weekend for me. I loved the full harvest moon. On Saturday I harvested apples from the little tree out back. There's an orchard of sorts along the back border of my prope...

Room to Move

Well, you may have already heard. The auction ended and Cher's moccasins sold for $1400.00. That's a little much, don't you think? I still dream about how nice it would be to own them....

After Midnight

You've probably heard by now that Starbucks raised the price of a cup of coffee to three dollars and five cents.  I'm glad I don't buy my coffee by the cup at Starbucks. I've been drinking a...

Time in a Bottle

I celebrated my six month myspace anniversary the other day. There were no parades or balloons or speeches but I did eat a piece of pie. It was tasty. I'd made it from the golden raspberries and ...

Up on the Roof

In typical style I went about tackling the problem of needing to replace my roof in the most unusual way. I've known for the past three years that it needed to be done.  I procrastinated and hemm...

Yesterday

This will come as a suprise to many of you I'm sure. I've decided, after much thought and consideration, to abandon my quest for the heart of Sir Paul McCartney. This isn't because I've stopped lovin...
